Privacy Policy

Who we are

This site, striluv.com, is published by Striluv, a virtual music project created by Austine Quintana’s parents (“we,” “us”). This policy covers this website only. Our YouTube channel and any streaming services that carry our music are governed by those platforms’ own policies.

What we collect

You do not need an account. The site has no sign-up, no login, no comment form and no payments. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.

What is collected automatically:

• Server logs. Our host, Netlify, records standard request data (IP address, browser type, the page requested, time) to deliver and secure the site.
• Link clicks. Outbound links such as our Subscribe and YouTube buttons go through our short-link service, Dub (go.striluv.com), which counts the click and records the referring page, approximate location and device type.
• Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when the page loads.

Videos and advertising on our pages

• YouTube. Videos are YouTube embeds in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may set cookies or similar storage once you press play. Google’s privacy policy applies to that playback.
• Advertising. We use Google AdSense to help support the project. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent before any personalized advertising. You can manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

How we use it

Only to run the site, keep it secure, understand which songs and links people use, and support the project through advertising. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Links to other sites

We link to YouTube, to a memorial page for Austine Quintana hosted by a funeral home, and in future to music streaming services. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Children

This site is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
• Manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU or the UK), you may have the right to know, access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to certain uses. Because we do not hold accounts, most data about your visit sits with the providers above; contact us and we will help you exercise these rights.

Security and retention

The site is served over HTTPS. We keep link-click data only as long as it is useful for understanding the site, within each provider’s retention settings. No online service can promise perfect security.

Nevada residents

Striluv is based in Nevada. In line with Nevada’s online privacy law (NRS 603A):

• Information collected: the categories described above: technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and approximate location.
• Who receives it: the service providers named in this policy (Netlify, Google, YouTube, Dub).
• Tracking across sites: third parties such as Google (AdSense and Fonts) and YouTube may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites when you use this site.
• Reviewing or correcting information: because we hold no accounts, contact us and we will tell you what, if anything, we have and correct or delete it.
• Sale of information: we do not sell covered information. You may still send an opt-out request to privacy@striluv.com and we will honor it.
• Changes: we post any update on this page with a new “Last updated” date.

If our practices change, for example when a new tool is added, we will update this page and the date above.
